Paper Chasing

I'll be honest with yall, I am so tired of seeing my generation seeing God as some magical gene in a bottle just waiting to grant prosperity. If your priority is chasing status, money, and things: you will reach the end of your rope and be left unfulfilled.

The truth:

If money and wealth (wealth as in financial gain) is the biggest blessing that you can wish to acquire from the Lord.. you may be spiritually bankrupt. The actual biggest blessing that you can acquire on this earth is a true relationship with God. That's eternal! Whereas everything you see here on earth that people mainly strive for is of the flesh and certainty won't be here forever.

God is not a gene. He's not just here to "bless you". If this is you, please understand that God is here to offer so much more and not just here to help you acquire worldly things.

We have to stop chasing the hand of God and what he can give us and start chasing the heart of God and how he can spiritually bless us.
