Blexit is a movement that you've probably not heard of.

It’s decried as the black exit from permanent victim-hood, the black exit from the false idea that blacks are somehow separate from the rest of America.

I truly believe that there is no group in America that has been more lied to, more abused, or more taken advantage of by politics than African Americans.

For too long, Owens says, African Americans have been “mentally enslaved” on the Democratic plantation, and it’s high time they became “free.” “Sixty years black people have been voting the same. What have we gotten back?” she says. “That’s the plantation. We do the work, we make sure you get elected every four years. You get the power, and we get absolutely nothing back.”
